Located pending in the heat of, with but of 900 meters of altitude, between two mountain ranges that comprise of the mountain range of the Villuercas, in a high relief and fraction, eroded by the fluvial network forming three wild valleys by which the rivers Almonte and Viejas flow, the throat of Santa Lucia that spill in the Almonte river is a place of great ecological value. In slopes of the mountain ranges the pedrizas alternate with forests of cork oak groves or oaks and spots of scrub where they predominate madroños, rockroses and brezos. Caves and schematic cave paintings of the Bronze can be found in the environs.
