Who we are

We are the Cooperative Society Apicultural Sierra Villuercas-Ibores, founded on 1998 by 10 beekeepers of the towns of the region of the Villuercas, moved by the innovating and creative impetus for the development of the apicultural activity. We settled down in the small locality of Cañamero, due to the beautiful place of the mountain ranges of villuercas that surrounds it, with a climate and a vegetation in pure state, that causes that the Villuercas-Ibores Honey is registered with Denomination of Origin. 

The partners founders of the cooperative were:

Ines Expósito Maria Jiménez, Maria Josefa Sanchez Tizón, (at the moment Secretary of the Cooperative) Hernán Montes Paz (At the moment Vice-president of the Cooperative), Juan Cruz Rubio (at the moment President of the Cooperative), Máximo Cortijo Cortijo, Maria Carmen Velardo Barba, Juan Francisco Solano Rubio, Juan Carlos Solano Moreno, Bernabé Pulido Pulido. J. Manuel Sanromán (at the moment replaced by Juan Pablo Montes Paz)

Throughout these years we have made a great investing effort and to be able to make the installation of the packing machinery our products and to provide the cooperative of the last technologies to give entrance to our products of a matchless quality in the market.

We began with the production and packaging of honey, and continued later with the harvesting of polen and dances the jaleo real. Our products appear in several formats that we presented/displayed to you in our page. They are controlled during the packaging, the distribution and the later commercialization by means of opportune analyses of verification, with the purpose of assuring at any moment that what the consumer is receiving is the original product.
